Working Cats:
- Are started on vaccinations
- Have been FIV/FeLV tested
- Have received a rabies vaccination when age appropriate
- Have not been declawed : SFAHS does not preform declawing surgeries
- Do not have special care requirements
Requirements:
- Provide safe shelter from weather and predators, such as a barn, shed, garage, workshop, or warehouse
- Provide fresh food and water daily. Well-fed working cats are more likely to stay and continue controlling pests
- Provide ongoing veterinary care for the cat’s health and well-being
