- Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Applying does not guarantee approval.
- Volunteers ages 16 and older may complete service hours independently.
- Anyone under 16 must have a parent or guardian present while completing hours.
- Community service does not include animal interaction.
- Service projects focus on tasks that support the shelter and its daily operations
